Common Questions

Common questions, honest answers

If your question isn't answered here, call Jim or Donna at (737) 738-1189. Most measurements are scheduled within 48 hours.

Pricing & Cost

How much do custom window treatments cost?
It depends on product, window size, fabric or finish, and operation. Faux wood blinds are the most affordable; plantation shutters are typically the highest. We give a firm written quote at the in-home measurement.
Are consultations and measurements really free?
Yes. We come to your home, measure every window, walk through product options that fit the rooms, and leave you with a written quote. No charge, no obligation.
Do you offer financing?
For larger whole-house projects, we can arrange financing through a manufacturer partner at the time of order. Ask Jim at the consultation.

Measurements & Installation

How long does installation take?
Most projects are finished within one week from the day we measure, including the manufacturing window. Whole-house installs and motorized systems may take a few days longer.
Do I need to be home for the measurement?
Yes, for the first visit. We need someone present to walk through product choices and confirm the look you're after.
Will install damage my walls or trim?
No. Inside-mount treatments are anchored into the window casing; outside-mount treatments use small concealed brackets. We patch and touch up if anything shifts during fitting.
Can you replace existing window treatments?
Yes. We remove the existing hardware, dispose of it, and install the new treatments in the same visit.

Materials & Warranty

What kind of warranty do I get?
Most products carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects. Hardware (motors, lift mechanisms) is typically warrantied 5 years. We stand behind our installation work for the life of the product.
Are your products child-safe?
By default, yes. Cordless and motorized lift options are standard for households with children. We confirm at the consultation.
Can I motorize my window treatments?
Yes. Roller, Roman, zebra, and cellular shades all motorize cleanly. Plantation shutters and wood blinds typically stay manual.

Service Area

Where do you install?
All of Williamson County: Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Serenada, Santa Rita Ranch, and surrounding communities.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Licensed and insured for residential window-treatment installation. Family-owned and operating in Georgetown since 1987.
